Updates to Our Natural Gas System Planning Process

In accordance with an order from the New York Public Service Commission, we’re developing long-term plans for our natural gas system along with the State’s eleven largest energy companies.

On May 12, 2022, the New York Public Service Commission issued Case 23-G-0147 adopting a natural gas system planning process. Among other items, the order requires the State’s eleven largest energy companies to develop and file long-term plans on a three-year cycle. Consolidated Edison Company of New York Inc. and Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.’s final long-term plan was filed on November 29, 2023. View the plan below:

Stakeholder Informational Session Presentation

On April 26, 2023, the companies hosted an informational session for stakeholders to share information regarding its natural gas system generally and to enable stakeholders’ effective participation in the long-term planning process. After the presentations there was a question-and-answer session to address matters related to the presented material.

Technical Conferences

Throughout 2023, the Companies will be conducting technical conferences to present information to stakeholders and PSC staff. The focus of these meetings will be our filings and related updates.
