Rockland Electric Company's HVAC Instant Rebate program is a new approach to NJ’s heating and cooling market that benefits distributors, contractors, and homeowners. It offers instant rebates to customers who have eligible equipment installed by a participating contractor.

Customers can get a rebate of up to $600 off when they make the switch to an energy-efficient central air conditioner, heat pump, heat pump water, or ENERGY STAR® smart thermostat.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the program, you must be a residential Rockland Electric Company customer with a Rockland Electric Company account number and the owner of the house where the heating/cooling equipment or water heater installation is performed. Beginning July 1, 2021, all Rockland Electric Company residential customers are eligible. This offer is not valid for new construction or commercial properties.

You must use a Rockland Electric Company Participating Contractor in order to receive your instant rebate.
